Role Overview:

The Quality Control and Repair Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our products, managing repair work, and overseeing efficient logistical operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle shipments and inventory for our European customer service department.

Additionally, the specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports logistics operations globally, and contributes to maintaining a well-organized workshop. With a strong focus on precision and teamwork, this position plays a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence in the luxury eyewear industry.

Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control and Repairs
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Perform quality checks on samples returned from sales agents and European partners.
  • Execute repair work with precision and attention to detail in the workshop.
  • Identify recurring quality issues and propose solutions to prevent future defects.
  • Identify areas for improved efficiency.
  • Document repair processes and maintain a clear record of completed work.
Organization and Logistical Management
  • Maintain an organized workshop and accurate inventory system.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments for the European customer service department
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy against TO of samples return from sales agents
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Ensure a healthy inventory of parts for repairs is available at all times
  • Support the team during high-volume periods with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ensure shipments have all necessary paperwork to avoid delays
  • Communicate effectively with the team on a daily basis
  • Assist with periodic stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
Support and Collaboration
  • Assist the logistics operations supervisor in Los Angeles with specific tasks.
  • Train new team members on shipping best practices to foster autonomy within their roles.
  • Provide support for parcel shipments across departments, including handling heavy loads (over 25 kg).
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors to streamline workflows.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards within the workshop and shipping areas.
  • Manage special requests or priority shipments
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align on goals, share updates, and address challenges.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in quality control, logistics, or a related field (eyewear or luxury goods preferred).
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, familiarity with inventory systems, and basic repair skills.
  • Comfortable handling heavy loads (up to 25 kg).
  • High school diploma (additional certifications in logistics or quality control are a plus).
  • Proficiency in English and French
  • Proactive mindset, strong communication, adaptability, and a commitment to quality.
