Responsibilities:

How will you make an impact?

• Lead Analyst for team managing inventory planning / allocation and distribution of repairable assets.
• The position reports to Manager – Supply Chain Planning. It is responsible for supervising a team of Distribution Analysts.
• Ensures the appropriate level of spare parts are available to support operations while optimizing the cost effectiveness. Oversee department processes and provide process guidance to the team.
• Forecast demand and calculate spare requirements. Manage routine material allocation and distribution. Manage scrap replacement process. Identify and disposition stale inventory. Assist the manager in creating and controlling department budget.
• Analyze AOG Control Log daily for root cause, covers for manager when needed. Create / Review and approve / reject Purchase Requests from all Distribution Analysts. Request Monitor borrow / loan / lease transactions.
• Identify opportunities for cost saving and process improvement. Lead projects meeting those objectives.
• Coordinate with other departments to reduce unavailable inventory and ensure proper inventory planning.
• Represents supply chain team in operational and project coordination meetings, meeting calls with internal and external organizations.

Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of supply chain / planning concepts and processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills required; assertiveness to negotiate and mediate pricing and complex collaborative programs.
• Knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts.
• Financial and data analysis skills to assist in negotiations and understanding Supply Chain costs / business models / options.
• Demonstrated management, leadership and / or project management experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and knowledge of analytical / database tools like MS-Excel, MS-Access, BI Tools (e.g. Cognos / SQL / Tableau).
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar ERP system preferred.
• Prior airline or aviation engineering and / or supply chain management experience preferred.
• Degree or advanced education in fields of supply chain management, logistics, production engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, business / MBA preferred.
• Some travel is required.
