KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Okta Engineer/Admin: merger & acquisition domain migration, Workflows, AD, cloud provisioning, IAM, APIs.
Context of the need:
Client is rebranding, and we need to transition our users and applications (400+) from the current Okta tenant to a new Okta tenant, by 8/1/2025. This is a top-down directive which has leadership's primary attention for 2025. The migration entails redoing all Okta app configurations, reissue all API token, migrate each individual app, etc.All this while keeping the user disruption at the minimum.
Key responsibilities:
Include the support of core IAM systems (including Okta, Active Directory, Office365), as it pertains to user related operations, and other various applications, as well as managing requests and incidents through ticketing system, change control releases via the change management tools (Jira) and documentation through the documentation portal (Confluence).
This position will be the main point of contact for Okta for this project, and needs the ability to operate with minimum supervision (i.e. We need someone who is experienced, can juggle multiple issues at once, and can work in a rapid pace without losing focus).
Day to Day:
Live in Okta 2 worlds for the duration of this project (aka be comfortable with handling multiple requests at once).
Transitioning apps from the current tenant to the new Okta tenant
Transition all Okta Workflows from the current tenant to the new Okta tenant
Working with the project lead to provide communication verbiage to the end users, for each app transition
Support of the transition to the application prior, during and after the transition.
Working w application owners to transition information: gather requirements, testing, validation, etc.
Document requirements, migration processes, procedures, and configurations in Jira/ Confluence
Attend Change Control Forum to present Application Migration one by one, as needed.
