Journeyman HVAC Service Technician
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients.-
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and longevity.-
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC equipment.-
Install and replace components such as compressors, motors, coils, and refrigerant lines.-
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and EPA regulations.-
Utilize manufacturer training and technical knowledge to optimize HVAC system performance.-
Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports on work performed.-
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of service recommendations.-
Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.-
Work on prevailing wage projects and other specialized government contracts as required.
Qualifications:-Minimum 4 years of experience as an HVAC technician.-
Valid Journeyman HVAC license (Required).-
Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems.-
Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC components.-
Experience with EPA regulations, refrigerants, and safety standards.-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.-
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces when necessary.-
OSHA and fall protection training (or willingness to obtain).-
Excellent customer service and communication skills.-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting.-
A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
