Accounts Payable Clerk

Esteem Medical is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage and process invoices and payments. This role ensures accurate handling of accounts payable transactions, maintains records, and assists with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and numerically proficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Verify, match, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and process vendor payments; manage payment schedules.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions, resolve discrepancies, and review vendor statements.
• Record Keeping: Maintain and organize accounts payable records and documentation.
• Communication: Handle vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.
• Reporting: Assist with accounts payable reports and audit support.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and stay updated on regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma required; associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience: Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), and Adobe Pro. Workday and PeopleSoft experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
