Quality Progressions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Supports Coordination Organization (SCO) that assists individuals with intellectual disabilities. We have supported over 3,000 individuals in achieving employment, participating in their local community, and making meaningful choices in their lives.

We currently have a job opportunity available on our Administrative team in our Downtown Philadelphia office. The Administrative Assistant/File Clerk is responsible for a full range of clerical and receptionist duties. We are seeking a High school graduate with a minimum of two years experience in an administrative support or secretarial role.

Candidates applying for this role should have strong communication skills, an upbeat attitude, willingness to assist our team, and ensure that guests have a positive experience during their visit.

In this role, you will report to the Office Manager on a collaborative team with 2-3 other Administrative Assistant/File Clerks. Basic responsibilities are:

Accountabilities:

  • Answer high-volume calls in a professional manner; taking messages and routing calls as necessary
  • Assist with the maintenance of files and records
  • Ensure conference / meeting rooms and kitchen area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationary and supplies
  • Perform data entry, printing, and maintenance of documents as necessary
  • Assist with mail distribution
  • Work with Outlook, Excel, and Word on a daily basis
  • Maintain a customer service focus
  • Create packets
  • Minor technical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
  • Make occasional on foot deliveries Downtown (0.06 mile walk)
