Medical Records Associate (Part-Time)

About the Role
This is an opportunity to work in our clinical operations team, supporting our care team and our members. In this role, you will be based in the San Francisco office (3-5 days/week) and provide administrative support for our Medical Records department.
The right candidate for this role is an independent self-starter who is organized, detail oriented. This person understands the importance of safeguarding patient records, ensuring that everyone is compliant with HIPAA standards. This candidate also demonstrates the ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships across various disciplines.This is a part-time (20 hours/week), limited term role with potential to grow into a regular role.

What You'll Accomplish- Support the day to day execution of medical records processing and retrieval.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and works with the team and manager to scope and execute the work needed.
- Develop and follow clearly written operating guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members including the SF office and the clinical team to optimize the member experience.
- Provide administrative support to partner services as needed.
Qualificatons:
Basic Qualifications- Relevant administrative experience: We are looking for a person who has experience with processing medical records or maintaining confidentiality with highly sensitive information and providing excellent customer service.
- Effective Communicator: We can move fast, and therefore, communication is the key to staying on task with other team members.
- Change Agile: embraces the opportunity to ask questions, get clarity and thrives in a fast paced, continually changing environment
- Technical Requirements:
- Proficient with Google suite
- Experience of comfortable learning new technology platforms such as Electronic Medical Records
- You have experience in medical records processing
- Have worked with clinicians in the prior roles.
Compensation
This position will have an hourly salary. Please note the hourly salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.19 - $37.79/hour. This is a limited term role that with an end date in December, with potential to grow into a full time role.
