We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Credit Union industry located in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with handling various administrative duties, managing customer accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle general office tasks and administrative duties as needed
  • Respond to employee inquiries in person or via email in a timely manner
  • Review documents for action, ensuring they are logged in our systems for visibility and awareness
  • Provide support for intra-departmental operations as assigned
  • Maintain regular phone and email correspondence with customers
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for various tasks
  • Schedule appointments as necessary
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling inbound and outbound calls with detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks and maintain records.
  • Proficiency in email correspondence, with the ability to draft, send, and manage detail-oriented emails.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
  • Prior experience in a credit union or similar financial institution would be beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
