Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role primarily focuses on accounts payable functions while collaborating with Project Managers and working closely with the CFO. You’ll also gain valuable experience across the broader accounting cycle, offering excellent growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers to review and approve invoices
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform journal entries, bank reconciliations, and verify purchase orders
• Participate in the month-end close process and assist in financial reporting
• Maintain detailed records of all project finances for auditing and tax purposes
• Ensure accurate and meticulous record-keeping for financial data
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting clerk or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets, reports, and financial analysis
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
• Familiarity with account reconciliation and billing procedures
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to process invoices efficiently and ensure timely payments
• Solid understanding of standard accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent communication skills to interact with departments and external clients
