Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities:
- Propose improvements to department/plant operations through manufacturing engineering analysis of existing operations compared to future requirements based on capacity, cost reduction, safety and/or risk avoidance opportunities.
- Prepare project justification including recommendations, make-vs-buy analysis, layout, cost impact and schedule activities as required.
- Implement processes including equipment procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation, work standard measurement and production start-up.
- Implement process improvements including activities such as project management, tooling selection through implementation, N/C programming, etc.
- Support processes resulting from process improvement, part changes, changing capacities, etc.
Qualifications:
- Four-year Engineering degree OR a two-year Engineering degree with seven years of work experience is required OR no degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
- Technical skills and training such as CNC programming, CAD layout, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), process capability theory, and statistical process control are preferred.
