Telecommunications Cost Estimator

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of detailed cost estimates for telecommunication services to support project planning and decision-making. The role will also involve developing cost breakdowns and reports to communicate estimate assumptions, methodologies, and results to stakeholders, and participation in cost reviews and negotiations to validate and refine cost estimates.

The analysis of vendor cost/price proposals, invoices, and other project documents for cost drivers, trends, and anomalies will be required.

  • Prepare life cycle cost estimates for usage of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) leased telecommunications services
  • Conduct cost comparisons between alternative telecommunications solutions and participate in investment analysis activities
  • Interface with telecommunication engineers to establish service requirements
  • Interface with finance and contracts personnel to resolve pricing issues
  • Assist in the development of cost models and pricing tools for new vendor offerings / contracts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 years of relevant full-time experience
  • Experienced with excel or similar.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cost model development
  • Knowledge of FAA Acquisition Management System

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range: USD $67,800.00 - USD $105,975.00 /Yr.
