Responsibilities:
Program Overview
Youth Villages’ Residential Treatment programs serve children with emotional and behavioral problems. Our residential campuses provide the setting for an intensive treatment program that combines the unique balance of structure and freedom. This enables children and their families to identify, understand and cope with their individual needs and develop the skills necessary to succeed in less restrictive settings.We have three different types of facilities—Intensive Residential Centers, Open Campuses, and Group Homes. Located in Tennessee and Georgia, all of these facilities utilize the Re-Education of Emotionally Disturbed Children therapy model (Re-Ed).
Position Overview
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in a commercial establishment. Position will include, interior/exterior painting as needed.
***Painters, plumbers experience required.
Qualifications:
Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
High school diploma/GED preferred
Must be skilled and experienced in applying paint and coatings interiorly and externally.
Must have at least 2 years experience in general maintenance.Must be willing to travel.
Experience running telephone and data lines; Cubicle setup.
Prefer electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
Must be able to perform On Call duties every 6 weeks (nights and weekends included).
Knowledge of painter, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
A mechanical aptitude and general skill knowledge in all areas of general structural and mechanical maintenance.
Experience growth and development through our continuous training, as well as tuition and licensure reimbursement, or pursue opportunities to advance both clinically and administratively with Youth Villages.
****Must be willing to be on call every six weeks.
