Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older, pass a background check and have a valid

CA Driver's License with clean DMV Record. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English at the level of a college student. Be able to legally work in the United States.

Summary

Under the general direction of the Operations Manager and Operations Assistant, a Lead Warehouse Associate will help with shipping, receiving, stocking, storing, labeling, packing and distributing all materials and supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Ability to perform duties of a Warehouse Associate as needed including but not limited to order packing. This includes picking, packing, ensuring orders are accurate, properly labeled and staged for dispatch.
• Must have ability to print shipping labels, update spreadsheet with box count, read pick lists, Metrc manifests or requisitions to determine items to move, gather or distribute and/or ship.
• Provide assistance with both incoming and outgoing inventory transfers. This includes loading, unloading, pulling, staging, ensuring accuracy, documenting and/or communicating discrepancies, creating intake labels, verifying that inventory matches transfer documents, and putting products away.
• Help operate and maintain a computerized inventory control system. Provide assistance with counting and maintaining physical Inventory by organizing, consolidating and creating space for inbound transfers as well as leading intakes and routine audits.
• Ability to provide assistance with order processing in Salesforce and Metrc as needed.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. to provide support in the absence of the Operations Manager.)
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for everyone.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Use appropriate computer programs to record amounts of materials and items received or distributed.
• Responsible for keeping all work areas clean and free of debris; responsible for the daily walk-through to assure that all areas are safe and acceptable to begin daily assignments.
• Assist in driving for vehicle maintenance and as a substitute when necessary.

Supervisor Responsibilities

The Warehouse Lead will assist the Operations Manager and Operations Assistant as needed in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Warehouse Associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities will include overseeing Warehouse Associates during the weekend shift, basic training of employees; planning, assigning, directing, and verifying others work.

Qualifications

• CPU skills required, decent typing and familiarity with point of sale operating systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Self-motivated, able to find answers and increase efficiency.
• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable to work in a high pace, high volume environment with deadlines.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail, follow double check procedures and be organized.
• Team attitude and good communication skills. Be self-motivated with the ability to find answers and increase efficiency
• Ability to commute during early traffic conditions to start your shift on time and
• observe working hours

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a leadership role
• Be proficient in reading and understanding all associated documentation such as, but not limited to, order documents, Metrc and COA's
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry.

This job operates primarily onsite in a warehouse environment; however, some tasks may be off-site. This role requires a lot of physical work and the ability to use a computer or other electronic devices used in warehouse operations.

This is a physically demanding position. To perform the required tasks of this position, a Warehouse Associate needs to have and/or be able to:

• Sit, stand or walk short distances for the employee’s entire shift
• Climb stairs on an occasional basis
• Have consistent packing and inventory movement demands
• Constantly operates a computer and other warehouse electronics
• Comfortably lift and carry up to 50lbs. frequently
• Frequently lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds
• Comply with all safety standards and procedures
• Reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
• Stoop, kneel, or bend, on a frequent basis
• Navigate uneven terrain, such as sidewalks, parking lots and city curbs
