Dental One Associates of Waldorf is growing and we're hiring a Dental Hygienist for our office located in Waldorf, Maryland 20602. This is a full-time position working Mon-Fri. Part time employment will also be considered.

We work closely as a team in our state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technologies such as; Overjet, CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), to ensure our patients get superior care, while also ensuring our hygienists have what they need to do quality work they will be proud of.
As with most offices, we've had employees leave to explore other opportunities, but our employees find their way back to us. To us, that speaks volumes! We must be doing something right!
Previous experience working as a hygienist is always great, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license in the state of MD. New Hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.
Our office is centrally located in Waldorf and is close to St. Charles residential area, Waldorf Town Center Mall and many nice restaurants (great for lunch breaks!).

Responsibilities:
- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
