We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland. This role will be a key part of our team, providing valuable support for a variety of projects, grants and initiatives within our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative support for various projects within the organization
- Ensure all legal requirements are adhered to, with a particular focus on Fair Housing Law
- Utilize office software to maintain accurate records and carry out administrative tasks
- Assist in the administration of grants and initiatives
- Act as a point of contact for queries, resolving issues or redirecting as appropriate
- Report directly to the department head, providing regular updates and feedback
- Maintain an organized, efficient workspace, managing resources effectively
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operation of all administrative tasks. • Possess a minimum of 1 year experience in an Administrative Assistant role or similar
- Proven ability in Administrative Assistance tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and office management
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Law and related regulations
- Experience or familiarity with Fair Housing practices and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail oriented and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
