Content Strategist
Our client is seeking a Freelance Content Strategist to join their team. As part of a major initiative, our client is launching a new system across multiple business units and needs a Content Strategist to create a sense of cohesion and ensure the content conveys a unified brand story, grounded in data-driven insights.
This role's primary focus is to orchestrate an effective content strategy that brings together separate components of the system into one harmonious narrative. The ideal candidate should not only have strong skills in content creation and strategy but also in analyzing existing content gaps, using data to inform decisions, and producing high-quality, results-oriented content.
The role is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with a 1-year contract at a rate of up to $40/hr. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders and business units to gather data and form a comprehensive understanding of each piece of the system
- Evaluating currently available content, identifying gaps through data analysis, and providing actionable insights to close those gaps
- Crafting a cohesive content strategy that integrates system segments, ensuring all strategies are backed by data-driven metrics
- Developing a consistent brand message across all business lines, with measurable KPIs to track content performance
- Supporting content production, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and data insights
- Designing and implementing robust Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies, using performance data to continually optimize web content and user experience
- Utilizing AI tools to automate and enhance content creation and distribution processes, backed by data analytics for efficiency and effectiveness
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a content strategist with a focus on data-informed decision-making
- Excellent ability to create a unified narrative from diverse system components, supported by data-driven storytelling techniques
- Expertise in content production and distribution, with a strong focus on data analysis and performance metrics
- Familiarity with AI tools that can optimize content creation and strategy, leveraging data to ensure maximum impact
- Strong skills in CRO, with the ability to track, analyze, and enhance conversion rates using data insights
- Flexibility to work 15-20 hours per week, on a project-based and as-needed basis
