Sr. Accountant, Cash Management
Overview:
The Restaurant Cash Management team facilitates and provides accounting support for end-to-end Restaurant payment processes and cash management insights. This professional level role requires an individual who will support for Restaurant Cash Management and Payroll Services for International Restaurants.Individual will be responsible for providing cash management, payroll, payment and reconciliation support for Puerto Rico Chick-fil-A Operators. This role requires daily interaction with our Franchisees, the individual must have a customer service mindset and will provide 2nd mile service to Operators, team members, staff, and 3rd party vendors.

Work is often completed under limited supervision and occasional after hour support or over-time may be required to meet goals or guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Performs analysis and reconciliation of Franchisee level cash activity and procedures including credit, gift card, and disbursement transactions
- Provide system training and daily payroll process troubleshooting and system support
- Applies comprehensive knowledge to support Restaurant Cash Management and Payroll system support
- Proactively identify cash and credit risks and report potential issues that may impact financial results
- Demonstrates competence in performing Cash Management reconciliation for all incoming and outgoing payments and associated GL accounts
- Solve complex problems using while using good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, communication, and time management
- Identify and recommend changes in procedures including partnering with others to effect change
- Communicates timely and effectively with Operators, 3rd party vendors and internal staff
- Leverage analytical platforms to proactively identify cash and credit risks. Communicate and influence decisions surrounding potential issues that may impact financial results.
- May assist with budget/planning and audit compliance
- Acts as resource for staff with less experience; may be informal team leader
- May participate on Cross -functional teams and lead small projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish- Must be able to pass Spanish test (speaking, listening, and writing)
- Builds strong relationships with others and values the opinions and strengths of teammates

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Chick-fil-A’s standard suite of work solutions (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Exhibits ability to learn new systems and/or business reporting tools (Alteryx, Tableau)
- Must pass Chick-fil-A accounting test OR CPA (Certified Public Accountant) OR passed all four parts CPA exam
