Are you a dedicated, experienced pharmacist looking for a flexible and impactful opportunity? We are seeking a passionate Pharmacist to join our Infusion team. This is an exciting chance to join a dynamic team where you’ll make a direct impact on patient care and have the unique opportunity to support patients in an evolving, patient-centric setting.
Our pharmacists are on call for one week at a time, covering overnight shifts on weekdays and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays. This role offers flexibility and autonomy while ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
What You Can Expect- Medication Management: Review the appropriateness of prescribed medication therapy to ensure patient safety and efficacy.
- Consultation & Education: Provide expert medication information and guidance to patients, nurses, and medical staff, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
- Dispensing & Compounding: Interpret prescriptions and expertly compound and dispense medications to meet patients' needs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and authorize the work of pharmacy technicians, externs, interns, and support staff, ensuring top-notch quality and compliance.
- Clinical Services: Perform cognitive clinical pharmacy services, document your findings, and take action in alignment with medical center standards.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist in the training of technicians and new team members, and serve as a mentor to interns, residents, and other department staff.
- Patient-Centered Care: Administer medications as appropriate, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Qualifications- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
- Infusion experience
