Housekeeping Manager

Job Description:

The Housekeeping Manager maintains a clean and safe community for residents, family members, guests, and associates by coordinating and directing all housekeeping services. Ensures the safety and health standards for the property are being met.

Inspires and ensures the delivery of exemplary customer service by all housekeeping associates.

This is a full-time salaried position, Monday-Friday.

Pay range: $50-53k/yr

What will I do every day?
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities
  • Inspect associates’ work performance
  • Schedule general cleaning before move-ins and after move-outs
  • Investigate complaints about service and equipment
  • Arrange for services, such as painting, repair work, renovations etc.
  • Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associates
  • Remain updated in changing in OSHA laws and/or other regulations
What will I need to be successful in this role?
  • High school graduate; some college preferred
  • Three to five years’ experience as a supervisor/manager and/or in a housekeeping lead role
  • Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
  • Technical training or certification (e.g., National Environmental Health Association) is desirable
