Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Robert Half's client in Hayward, is looking for a temporary HR Coordinator. This position will be Hybrid Monday-Friday. Schedule will be 3 days a week on site and 2 days from home. Must work 100% onsite for the first few weeks for training.

In this HR Coordinator position you will work under general direction from the Human Resources Manager. This HR Assistant role will be responsible for a variety of tasks from onboarding support, to filing and scanning.

Duties will include:

• Meeting with hiring managers to get hiring specs job duties
• Job postings
• Scheduling interviews
• Reference checks
• Coordinating background checks
• 1-9 documentation
• Sorting and organizing employee documents, scanning and uploading into appropriate files online

Experience with Paycom or comparable HRIS system

Tyler Munis is a plus, Public Agency experience is also a plus

This position requires discretion to work with confidential and sensitive issues on a regular basis.

• Strong scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple calendars
• Demonstrable skills in onboarding new employees
