Radiological Technologist - RT24-14163

Shift Time: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT scans, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Adjust and operate the CT scanner according to protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor and evaluate images to ensure optimal clarity and diagnostic value.
• Provide compassionate and professional care during CT exams.
• Educate patients about the procedure, address their concerns, and answer any questions.
• Safeguard patients from unnecessary radiation exposure through proper use of shielding devices.
• Ensure images are of the highest quality for physician interpretation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and analyze images.
• Perform regular quality checks on equipment to maintain performance standards.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialization in CT.
• ARRT (CT) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiation protection standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient positioning.
• Ability to lift and move patients when necessary.
