Job Description
The Financial Controller ANZ is reporting to a regional Finance Director, and working closely with the local leadership team, and Department Heads. The role includes the following;- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans
- Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the company
- Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues
- Optimising the handling of banking relationships and initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash flow
- Managing and leading staff within the department
- Monitoring and analysing financial data
- Ensuring effective internal controls
- Complying with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
The Successful Applicant
A successful ANZ Financial Controller should have:
- Qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a senior management role within a finance department
- Strong skills in strategic planning and business leadership
- Experience in managing a large team
- Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, supported by strong analytical skills.
- An attractive salary package in the range of AUD 180,000 - AUD 210,000
