Business Analyst

The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance of remote and onsite work.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with project sponsors, stakeholders, external vendors and other divisions to document current state and requirements
• Ensuring the delivery of quality products through meticulous analysis, problem-solving, and documentation
• Keeping senior management updated on issues relating to analysis work and related deliverables
• Using Java and Python for development and analysis tasks
• Applying data modeling and warehousing skills to manage and interpret data
• Utilizing machine learning and AI skills to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
• Leveraging cloud business intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting
• Conducting analysis of alert volume data to discover opportunities for alert reduction
• Providing training on the Fircosoft systems and the company's sanctions screening process
• Maintaining a strong leadership presence, demonstrating excellent communication and management skillsn
• Proven experience in Business Analysis, particularly within the IT sector.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to guide teams and oversee projects.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation related to project requirements, design, and implementation.
• Experience in facilitating training sessions for team members and stakeholders.
• Understanding of compliance and quality standards within the IT sector.
• Familiarity with the 'About Time' project management methodology.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Experience working with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and warehousing solutions.
• Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in relation to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.
• Ability to deliver on time and manage onsite responsibilities effectively.
• Strong data analytics skills, including the ability to interpret and analyze data for business insights.
• Experience in competitor analysis and the ability to utilize insights to inform business strategy.
• Proficiency in using Zoom for communication and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence Technologies, including data visualization tools.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning concepts.
• Experience in liaising with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
