Requirements
Your Role
As our Estate Planning & Estate Administration Paralegal, you’ll work in a hybrid capacity, supporting attorneys and clients through key aspects of both estate planning and estate administration. We are willing to provide training in areas where you may need additional guidance to ensure your success in the role.
Estate Planning:
- Assist clients with clarifying estate planning wishes and draft key documents, including Trusts, LLCs, Wills, and Deeds.
- Collaborate with attorneys in consultation and design meetings.
- Act as a witness during document execution and coordinate deed filings, including multi-jurisdictional tasks.
Estate Administration:
- Support attorneys during initial consultations and ensure court documents are prepared and filed accurately.
- Work with clients to marshal assets, draft accountings, and facilitate regular progress meetings.
- Maintain communication with beneficiaries and assist with final fund distributions.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/2-3 years’ experience in estate planning or administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ACRIS or other legal software is a plus.
Benefits
Compensation & Benefits- $65,000–$95,000 based on experience and qualifications.
