Job Description- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all plant equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.
- Ensure all equipment and processes meet regulatory standards and safety requirements, including food safety standards (HACCP, GMPs, etc.).
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and work with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, reduce waste, and improve energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to optimize process flow and product quality.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead capital projects including equipment upgrades, plant expansions, and process improvements.
- Manage and control the plant's engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial goals.
- Provide technical expertise and training to plant staff on equipment and systems operation.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in plant engineering within the food manufacturing industry.-Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, FSMA) and GMP requirements.
- Proven experience with maintenance management systems, capital projects, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with automation, PLCs, and electrical controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
