Manager, Audit Professional Services

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Engagement Manager to join our Audit Professional Services team. This role will play a critical role in leading and managing client engagements with CPA firms to successfully implement our OnPoint Suite of cloud-based applications.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the client's business objectives. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with deep knowledge of public accounting, audit processes and technology.

This is a Manager level position that requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in professional services, software implementation, or audit-related roles with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex client-facing projects.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Client Engagement & Leadership
  2. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  3. Establish strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals.
  4. Lead discovery sessions to understand client needs and design tailored implementation plans.
  5. Project Management
  6. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation based on agreed upon timelines
  7. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including consultants, trainers, and technical resources to meet project objectives
  8. Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  9. Change Management & Training
  10. Coordinate change management initiatives to drive adoption of the OnPoint Suite
  11. Coordinate and schedule product training for firms adopting the OnPoint Suite
  12. Technical Oversight
  13. Coordinate and facilitate data migration discovery and consulting processeswith technical services team(s) and firm resources
  14. Collaborate with technical team(s) to troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges
  15. Post Implementation Support
  16. Ensure smooth transition to post-implementation support and sustainability phases
  17. Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  18. Individual Contributor Role
  19. This position does not have direct reports but requires collaboration across teams to achieve business objectives.
  20. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in professional services, software implementation, or audit-related roles.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex client-facing projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field; CPA designation,with experience in assurance services, strongly preferred.
  • Certifications in project management or change management (e.g., PMP, Prosci) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of audit processes and CPA firm operations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies strongly preferred.
  • - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based technologies and data migration practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver complex implementation projects in a professional services environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the audit technology landscape.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software, accounting software, human resource systems, and contact management systems.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university or 7+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required
  • Experience in consulting or training is preferred
  • Solid writing skills including presentation development and technical writing
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel under normal circumstances
