Here's what you'd do:The CNC Machinist will operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts. The Machinist will load parts in the machine, cycle the machine, and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.The role requires the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams, ensuring the precise execution of machining tasks. The Machinist will also be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.Set up and Operate CNC Machines:-Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the CNC machine.-Input the correct program codes into the machine.-Start and supervise the machine operations to ensure optimal performance.-Adjust machine settings to maintain high precision and accuracy.-Ability to program either at machine controller or desktop using CAM software -Ability to trouble shoot Blueprint Interpretation:-Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.-Understand specifications and tolerances for each part.Quality Control:-Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications.-Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.-Document and report any inconsistencies or defects.Machine Maintenance:-Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.-Report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.Safety and Compliance:-Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Here's what you'll get:Pay: $25-$35/hr; depending on experience.
Hours: 40 hours/week.
Length: Temp to Hire.Shifts: -First Shift: M-F - 7:00 AM-3:30 PM-Second Shift: M-F, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM (+ $1 Shift Differential)
