Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop specific supply lines and related products
• Source electronic components and manufacturing-related equipment and supplies
• Negotiate product prices and terms with suppliers and manufacturers
• Ensure compliance with the quality management system and other regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality efforts and support ethical standards through accountable action
• Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
• Maintain a high degree of ethical standards in all purchasing activities
• Use your knowledge of internal company structure to interact with all levels of management
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for cost analysis and freight charges
• Utilize MRP and forecasting systems for purchasing planning and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic component purchasing, with a strong understanding of industry trends and supplier networks.
• Proven experience managing long lead times, expediting orders, and adjusting procurement strategies to align with production demands.
• Strong background in high-volume item purchasing, with the ability to manage multiple components and suppliers efficiently.
• Proficiency in Syteline ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems for procurement and inventory management.
• Experience in production planning and coordination to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and receiving processes to support seamless supply chain operations.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with a focus on cost control and supplier performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess purchasing needs and identify optimal solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
