Position Overview:

As we expand our horizons, we're on the lookout for a dedicated Event Server to become a part of our legacy. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our esteemed clientele receives an unparalleled dining experience during our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Deliver exemplary service by promptly serving food and beverages to our guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Table Management: Oversee the entire guest dining sequence, ensuring meticulous execution from table setup to clearing dishes.
  • Guest Relations: Engage positively with guests, addressing any special requests and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout the event.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work seamlessly alongside the culinary team, bartenders, and event coordinators, ensuring smooth and integrated event experiences for guests.
  • Event Preparation: Be actively involved in event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is kept pristine and stored systematically after every event.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Strictly adhere to safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines to maintain the company's reputation for excellence and guest safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure possession and maintenance of a CA Food Handler’s Card, and remain updated with any related certifications or requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Level: Minimum high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Industry Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, with a preference for those familiar with luxury hotel or fine dining settings.
  • Certifications: Must possess and continuously maintain a valid CA Food Handler’s Card.
  • Beverage Service: Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certifications are considered pluses, but not mandatory.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English both verbal and written communication.
  • Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended durations and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability: Flexible work schedule, including availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
