Responsibilities:

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Sales Contracts Analyst I. The Sales Contract Analyst will review and process sales contracts; ensure supporting documentation is received and complete, update internal systems, follow up with customers and sales for missing documents/information and assist in onboarding customers after installations on billing and ordering procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review incoming basic sales packages for accuracy and completeness prior to initiating the order-to-cash process in SAP. Follow up with sales, credit department and customers for any missing documentation. Ensure SAP databases have accurate and complete information pertaining to sales contracts and service billing schedules. Scan all pertinent contract documents into SAP for use by other teams.
  2. Invoice customers in SAP once installation confirmation is received. Ensure SAP transactions are fully closed once invoicing is completed. Set up and activate contract billing plans where applicable.
  3. Process and distribute Installation Completion Notice to internal and external customers.
  4. Manage Purchase portfolio of contracts throughout contract life cycle. Review customer’s portfolio of contracts and manage termination process with other teams. Update SAP contracts and invoicing details to reflect new contract where applicable.
  5. Assist with follow up with customers for monthly test counts (where required) Provide internal support for field sales regarding contracts and invoicing.
  6. Handle rebate and promotional processing. Issue credit memos when necessary.
  7. Provide customer onboarding information for invoicing and information pertaining to ordering reagent/control product.
  8. Cross train and serve as back-up for other Contract Analysts.
  9. Other duties and projects as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years’ experience in contracts required, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.
  • Language Skills: English, French
  • Computer Skills: MS Office, SAP
  • Strong internal and external communication skills. Collaborative skills, willingness and ability to work well with others, ability to influence others.
  • Organization skills, including flexibility, thoroughness, accuracy and attention to details.
  • Time Management skills to ensure prioritization and timely completion of tasks.
  • Good analytical skills. Ability to think outside of the steps in a process and assess cause and effect.
  • Ability to identify defects in processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Documentation Skills to ensure correct completion of contract data entry.
  • Additional hours may be required to complete month-end processing or manage contracts during high volume period.
