Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client intake and meetings
- Obtain and organize medical records
- Prepare demands and request police reports and 911 run records
- Document medical records and verify liens/bills
- Maintain regular communication with clients, checking in on their progress
- Coordinate client appointments with doctors or physical therapists
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed
- 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong work ethic and excited to learn about Personal Injury
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Trialworks) is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Desire to excel and grow with the firm
- Competitive Salary ($40,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience)
