Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing

May include, but not limited to:

  • Providing clear and accurate communication to the Leadership Team and the event staff.
  • Read and interpret banquet event orders (BEO’s) and Production Sheets in order to effectively stage and set up events with tables, chairs, risers, dance floor, podiums and other event / banquet room equipment for a wide variety of events
  • To supervise preparation and service of food/beverage to patrons in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Operate and maintain the Food & Beverage stand in compliance with the Health Code and Stadium policies
  • Assist chef with preparation and cooking of food for events & assist with caterings as needed
  • Closing down warehouse at end of shift
  • Assist with stand inventories and cost control
  • Work with each stand to ensure requisition sheets are completed and orders are put away properly
  • Assist with counting banks post event
  • Have a complete understanding of our BEO system and catering operation.
  • Set up digital signage, wireless internet, sound and lighting.
  • Must have knowledge of daily/weekly scheduled group functions, and events
  • Adhere to timeliness and attention to detail in completion of set ups
  • Work cohesively with other departments and adapt to priority changes of work flow
  • Other duties as needed
  • Follow all Greenleaf Hospitality Group policies and procedures

Qualifications:

What You Need for this Position
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • Remain positive and pleasant
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
