Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the repair of a wide variety of specialized equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven (family of brands) stores within a geographic area. Service calls are initiated from the store via 7Help work orders to appropriate technician.Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job responsibilities and qualifications may be superseded by local, state or federal regulations- Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment which include, but may not be limited to Minor repairs of HVAC, minor repairs to refrigeration, hot beverage equipment (ex. coffee, cappuccino) , cold beverage equipment (ex. tea, fountain, FBD, FCB, creamer machine), fountain/backroom ice makers, Hot food equipment (ex. fryers, griddles tortilla presses, ovens, roller grills, warmers), fuel dispensers (ex. printers, displays card readers, hanging hardware) etc.
- Responds to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory on truck
- Responsible for replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment as needed
- Schedules and prioritizes duties and work assignments on a daily basis
- Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory for truck
- Completes required reports and paperwork daily to account for the time and use of parts and materials
- Observes and inspects equipment to determine if servicing or further action is required
- Reads, interprets, and follows procedures described in service manuals per manufacturer guidelines
- Calibrates pumps, dispensers and other equipment in accordance with legal standards
- Recommends when an outside contractor is required to handle a maintenance issue
- Provides training to less experienced technicians as needed
- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management
- Complies with and follows all safety regulations and protocols
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong communication skills, able to interact with store staff and customers
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record; responsible to drive company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Basic computer knowledge
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High School/GEDYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years

- Fills in for AFM during vacations, absences
- Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical, facilities, or construction trade, or trade school equivalent.
- Will require extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.
- Will require ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs, as needed
- May require ability to work flexible hours (shifts). May occasionally require flexibility for “on-call” or as needed for emergency situations
