The Audio-Visual Site Supervisor is responsible for basic and advanced technical and mechanical production of the company’s integration projects. They actively participate in mechanical and technical production and processes to ensure a great client experience delivered with the highest quality possible.The Audio-Visual Site Supervisor responsibilities include Installation of equipment as well as: training, directing, supervising and, if necessary, disciplining crews and other workers. They are leadership figures in a given project and are expected to coordinate employee efforts, evaluate progress and provide assistance and direction to increase efficiency.
Your day will look like this:
- Participate in kick-off and recurring project meetings as needed.
- Manage the inventory of the onsite equipment, lifts, and tools.
- Manage day to day project paperwork.
- Perform installation tasks as noted in job summary based on project scope and directives.
- Demonstrate job site leadership, provide mentorship to all site Technicians on site and verify quality of work.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, signal flow, and architectural blueprints.
- Ensure that the required quality standards as stipulated in the contract documents are applied.
- Coordinate RMAs for defective or unused equipment as needed.
- Support the Project Manager with site supervision of install team, communication of daily job site status, and completion of required job documentation as needed.
- Support an Engineer or Programmer with minor programming changes.
- Manage the on-site aspects of the project through the installation and commissioning phases of the project.
- Ensure the health and safety on sites through training, prevention, and compliance.
- Act as a liaison, and maintain communication, with clients, general contractors (including sub-contractors), architects, and internal team.
- Address change orders throughout the project.
- Communicate and coordinate with other trades on site.
- Perform client training as needed.

Your profile:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the integration/installation of audiovisual equipment field.
- Basic customer service experience
- Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video, lighting, control, and networking equipment
- Experience installing Crestron/AMX/Extron/Q-Sys control systems preferred.
- Possess advanced carpentry and/or installation skills.
- Proficient use and safety with power tools.
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-I Certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course within first month of employment.
- Ability to lead site teams on large, complex projects.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Full availability: including 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
- This position requires periodic overtime and may require regular overtime for extended periods to meet deadlines.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge on construction sites (Health & Safety meetings, inspections, OHS prevention, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of sound systems, lighting, video and/or videoconference control equipment
- Advanced knowledge of carpentry: chemical and mechanical anchorage, passing cabling, etc.
- Advanced knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Viewer, an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook)

Work Requirements:
- Time will be spent in an office setting.
- Time will be spent on construction sites.
- 90% at client sites / 10% at office
- Work hours may vary depending on deadlines and the needs of the Company.
- Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Frequent Interstate Travel required.
- Environment may be fast paced and stressful.
Physical work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, heat, cold, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries.Environment may be fast paced at times.
