Their PNW plant is seeking a dedicated Director of Maintenance & Engineering who can step into this fast-paced role and immediately provide direction and leadership.This individual will ensure all engineering projects and maintenance objectives are accomplished in accordance with the companys goals and operation plans. The main goal of this Engineering Directors position is to continually maximize plant engineering and manufacturings abilities.
You will need strong leadership experience to be considered.
As the Director of Maintenance & Engineering, your major responsibilities will be: Maximize optimum production of machines and equipment
Review and analyze production, quality, and maintenance to determine causes of nonconformity with product specification and production problems and provide solutionsDevelop and implement procedures to eliminate operating problems and improve the quality of the product
Manage capital and expense projects to meet scope, budget and timeline as defined
Provide direction to engineering personnel to modify machines and equipment to improve production
Plan and schedule equipment maintenance & repairs to support production schedule.

Minimum requirements for this Director of Maintenance & Engineering position: At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably food
Prior experience in supervising maintenance personnelBasic knowledge of electronic Preventive Maintenance & Inventory management systems. (i.e. MP2)
Computer knowledge is essential
Electrical or Electronics knowledge is required.
