Our client is a leading provider of engineered valve solutions for industrial applications across diverse sectors, from power generation to oil and gas.

They are currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a dynamic sales team within their industrial valve manufacturing division. This role requires overseeing sales operations, managing a team of inside sales professionals, and working closely with the regional sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an Inside Sales team of five direct reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Team to drive lead conversions and achieve sales targets.
  • Assume pricing decision-making authority, ensuring competitive and accurate quotations.
  • Set and review goals and objectives for the inside sales team, conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the client's product offerings and capabilities, particularly in valve sizing and technical product specifications.
  • Manage the Inside Sales budget, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and prepare monthly reports on sales performance.
  • Serve as the departmental expert in the usage of pricing and discount schedules.
  • Oversee the processing of customer orders, ensuring compliance with terms and timely order entry.
  • Handle customer issues, including complaints, returns, and credits, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Manage pricing for special products, control valves, and Blue Chip projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales processes.
  • Provide training to the sales department on product knowledge, order entry processes, and sales software.
  • Oversee international order processing, ensuring accurate completion of documentation and invoicing.
  • Ensure coverage for customer inquiries and support, coordinating sales territories and schedules.
