Richmond - Security Lead (Full Time)
Overview:
ITility is seeking a Security Lead to support our team to execute guidance and processes related to safeguarding customer personnel and equipment within the security domain at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position will serve as the security access point for the customer, and will work to enhance the security support capabilities.Qualified candidate will monitor and work to ensure proper security access is maintained at each required location and will perform daily security checks to ensure safety. MUST BE ABLE to report to work consistently on-time and professional dress clothes/presentation.

Responsibilities:
This position will serve as the security access point for the customer, and will work to enhance the security support capabilities. Will monitor and work to ensure proper security access is maintained at each required location and will perform daily security checks to ensure safety.
- Monitors security access
- Serve as the primary security access point
- Detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and windows
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Provide on-site support for Security Management initiatives that ensure the integrity of on-site and remote personnel
- Assists with other ad hoc related projects or assignments as assigned
- Ensures all corporate policies are enforced, to include: work attendance at the correct times for each Security Receptionist; proper professional attire being worn by each Security Receptionist; conduct onsite is held to the highest standards
- Interfaces with the Security Government Team Leads (GTL), Contract Security Specialist, and coordinates with the ITility Site Lead to provide timely responses to requests and questions from the Government client.
- Responsible for overseeing the training of new Security Receptionists by the Assistant Lead Security Receptionist.
- Ensures Security Receptionists are performing their work in accordance with ITility’s HRMS PWS
- Responsible for Security Receptionist shift scheduling
- Other duties as assigned by ITility Site Lead or ITility Program Manager (PM).

- This position requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
