As a Cybersecurity Analyst supporting our Joint Maritime Networks (JMN) program, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of sensitive DOD systems. The role offers the opportunity to work with advanced security tools and contribute to mission-critical cybersecurity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess security architecture using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Perform comprehensive log reviews using Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) and SolarWinds Event Manager (SEM)
- Maintain security documentation and track compliance for privileged users
- Monitor SIPR network for CTO notifications and implement required security measures
- Review and verify site documentation for security compliance
- Assess new technologies for security implications and provide recommendations to ISSM
- Track and maintain cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) documentation
- Manage system access documentation, including SUAs, PUAs, and SAAR forms
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet Cyber Workforce 461 Systems Security Analyst Intermediate qualification requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with ACAS, ESS, and SolarWinds SEM
- Strong understanding of DOD security requirements and JSIG compliance
- Experience with SIPR network operations
- Demonstrated experience in security documentation management
- Experience with privileged user management and access control
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools and log analysis
- Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity frameworks and policies
- Experience with security compliance assessment tools
- Understanding of network security architecture
- Familiarity with security documentation processes
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with Joint Maritime programs
- Knowledge of Navy cybersecurity requirements
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience with DOD assessment and authorization processes
This is an on-site position at our Dam Neck, VA location. The position is contingent on program funding for 1-2 FTE positions.
