Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and develop a team of project managers and scrum masters capable of effective and efficient delivery of multiple initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Monitor initiative planning and execution including resources, tasks, status, changes, and issues
  • Oversee initiative delivery, including financial management, demand intake, resource utilization, and contract/vendor management
  • Create and enhance portfolio and program office processes and playbooks from intake demand to initiative delivery
  • Provide leadership and governance over agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies
  • Drive a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement or operational excellence
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology discipline with 6 plus years of experience with IT Project Management focused on Cyber Security, Infrastructure Engineering, and Operations and 3 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 9 plus years of specific experience and 4 plus years of management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Portfolio Management

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree
  • PMP certification
  • Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to MS Project, PPM solution, Daptiv, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.
  • 8+ years' experience in IT project management, especially larger IT projects with established firms
