Communications Lead

Overview:

HORUS Technology Solutions is looking for a Communications Lead to join our team.

The Communications Lead role will manage project-level communications. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies, producing high-quality content, and working with the customer to manage user communications.

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, the ability to problem-solve, and think creatively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies that facilitate transparent and effective information flow among employees.
• Shape and guide the project’s messaging and brand narrative.
• Manage newsletters, intranet content, and project-focused communications.
• Manage the project’s digital presence, including websites, and email campaigns to enhance engagement and reach.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and strategies.
• Integrate communication strategies with the project’s goals and objectives.
• Craft clear, impactful messages across diverse platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Managing the flow of project information, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all channels.
• Create engaging content for various platforms.
• Communicate processes, strategies and outcomes with executives and stakeholders.
• Oversee the project’s internal business communications activities, including the distribution of announcements, newsletters, reports, workshops and presentations.
• Manage and update project documents and communications.

Qualifications:

• BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Communications Lead.
• Experience in web and email content.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.

U.S. Citizenship required.
