Robert Half - Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Tucker, Georgia. Working within our finance team, you will be handling high-volume accounts payable operations, managing vendor databases, and assisting with month-end closing procedures.

• Accurately process complex invoices in high volumes in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Utilize Excel formulas and filters to manipulate large datasets, analyze financial data, and create detailed financial reports and statements.
• Manage vendor databases effectively, ensuring all vendor information is current and accurate.
• Perform daily reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and prepare monthly accounts payable aging reports.
• Coordinate between the purchasing department and vendors to verify the accuracy of transactions.
• Implement a 3-way match for all payable transactions to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the entries.
• Resolve any invoice discrepancies and issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of account analyses as requested during month-end closings.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documents. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficiency in Account Coding
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of Concur software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiar with Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software
