Want to do meaningful work that will leave a lasting impact in our community while growing your career? The Benton County Health Services is in search of a Behavioral Health Client Service Technician to support our Behavioral Health Department.

JOB SUMMARY

This position supports Benton County Behavioral Health by providing customer service to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. Additionally, this position works independently to keep day to day administrative and program operations effective and efficient.

The Client Service Technician is responsible for overseeing administrative processes to ensure consistency in approach and documentation across assigned programs. This position is required to cover at various locations through the Behavioral Health Division.

  • Annual salary range of:
  • $41,346 - $54,252
  • This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. Increases may be given at the end of the 6-month probationary period, depending on starting salary, and at the 1-year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:

  • High school diploma or GED; AND
  • 4 years of general office or administrative support.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.

Special Requirements:

  • This position is bilingual and requires duties to be done in both English and Spanish. Successful completion of language testing is required.
  • Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
  • Valid Oregon driver's license or ability to obtain upon hire. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Will provide excellent customer service with patience and compassion
  • Experience in a community Behavioral Health Setting preferred
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • CPR certified preferred
  • Experience with EPIC
  • Has office experience in a confidential environment
  • Has good working knowledge of HIPAA requirements
  • Has proficient data entry skills
  • Is an intermediate user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
