Facilities & Maintenance Technician - Adecco - ref. c17917823
This individual will play an integral role in maintaining and improving equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, manage, and execute a preventive maintenance schedule using CMMS software in collaboration with the Director of Operations, Director of Quality, and Head Brewer.
- Equipment Monitoring: Perform daily inspections and record keeping of critical systems such as effluent pH meters, dosing pumps, air compressors, glycol system pumps, chillers, and glycol buffer tank levels.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, bushings, sprockets, sheaves, belts, and other mechanical systems.
- Waste Management: Schedule and oversee the waste management systems.
- Emergency Response: Be the first point of contact for maintenance emergencies (including weekends) and respond to maintenance alarms as necessary.
- Contractor Management: Act as the point of contact for contractors, ensuring clear communication of scope, expectations, and accountability for work performed.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is essential. Experience with brewing, cellaring, packaging, and mechanical equipment is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong troubleshooting skills for pneumatic systems, air compressors, hydraulic systems, mechanical power systems, pumps, gearboxes, valves, heat exchangers, and mechanical components.
- Manual & Schematic Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Plumbing & Electrical: Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge for diagnostics (complete repairs are not required).
- Computer Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in maintenance or a relevant field.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for 8-10 hours at a time.
- Work Environment: Ability to safely work over, under, and around moving machinery, as well as in tight spaces.
- Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Height Safety: Must be comfortable working at heights while standing on a ladder

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
