Overview:
IST Management is seeking our next Catering/Hospitality Associate to join the Falls Church, Virginia team! The Catering/Hospitality Associate will be responsible for supporting Corporate Catering and Hospitality Services, in addition to other support services on-site daily.Ideal candidates will have prior experience in catering or hospitality, are willing to train, possess a level of professionalism, and are ready to grow in their office services career!

Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing catering events, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
- Client Relations: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train catering staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for events and adhere to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and equipment.
- Quality Control: Monitor food preparation and service to ensure adherence to quality standards and health regulations.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, providing solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to catering operations, such as scheduling, record-keeping, and report generation.
- Some exerience in catering/hospitality

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- A valid drivers license and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
- Lifting up to 55 pounds
