We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. This role is primarily based within the non-profit industry and will require the candidate to work onsite.

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required.
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and organize accounts payable.
• Implement accrual accounting methods for efficient financial management.
• Conduct regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Employ ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for better resource management.
• Manage account coding tasks and ensure they are completed accurately.
• Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payment and collection processes. • Proficiency in Account Coding is mandatory for this role.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is a must.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Knowledge of Concur software would be highly advantageous.
• The candidate should be well-versed in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• A strong understanding of Accounting Functions is required.
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• The applicant should have a strong background in Accrual Accounting.
• Auditing skills are an important requirement for this role.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is highly desirable.
