Systems Administrator - Waunakee

Salary: $75,000-90,000/year

Job Summary:

Robert Half is seeking a Network Systems Administrator for our client in Madison, WI to support and optimize their network and systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity and availability of network resources, perform daily system monitoring, and implement solutions for efficient business processes and analytics.

This is a Direct Hire role that requires a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Support: Monitor and support LAN/WAN, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
• System Integrity: Verify the integrity and availability of network systems and resources, performing ongoing performance tuning and hardware upgrades.
• Issue Analysis: Analyze and isolate network issues, providing technical support and recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
• Collaboration: Work with help desk and other teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement resolution plans.
• Documentation: Maintain operational and configuration procedures, ensuring all components work effectively together.
• Security Analysis: Provide analysis of vulnerabilities and develop resolution plans to enhance network security.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must have previous experience in a Network or Systems Administration role
• Supporting technologies such as HP, Microsoft (On-Prem and Cloud), Cisco, Fortinet, Cloudflare, SentinelOne, VMware, Citrix, SolarWinds, and Commvault.
• Skills: Strong end-user support skills, organizational abilities, and dependability. Must be a self-starter with a strong aptitude for learning and applying new knowledge effectively.
• Education: Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred
