FULL TIME -PERMANENT Bookkeeper!
Location: Cheshire, CT- FULL TIME ONSITE, NO EXCEPTIONSSchedule: 9-5, M-F, with overtime potential during peak season!
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with ten or more years of steady Bookkeeping experience for a small service company in Cheshire, CT. This position includes a full-time schedule with the possibility of overtime hours during peak season.This person will work closely with the CPA as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Oversee payroll (an outside company handles most tasks; this person will be responsible for monitor changes and updates as needed)
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Monthly close
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or summaries of financial transactions
- Assist and work with the CPA as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years bookkeeping experience
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working in a small company environment
- Exceptional ability to problem-solve, organize and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Compensation: Up to $32 per hour, depending on experience. There are MDV benefits available!
