Responsibilities:
- Successfully meets all the requirements for EVS Tech Cert 1.
- Cleans specialty areas including NICU, L&D, CCU, ED, OR, etc.
- May perform light floor care work including buffing and spotting carpet.
- Understands all procedures for life safety codes.
- Proficient in chemical/medicine spill cleaning, including USP 800.
- Comfortable using AIDET in patient rooms.
- Demonstrates knowledge of infection control techniques and proper hand hygiene.
- Proficient in handling biohazards, including safe handling of sharps and biohazard body fluid spills.

Salary Range:The compensation range for this position is $16.03per hour - $25.97per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
