Job Summary
As a Construction Foreman at Island Pump & Tank, you will lead a crew in the installation of fueling systems, including tanks, piping, dispensers, and related mechanical systems. You’ll manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.This role requires you to train and develop team members, communicate effectively with subcontractors, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to safety standards and project budgets.
What You’ll Do- Manage installation projects for various fueling system components.
- Conduct ongoing quality inspections and implement corrective actions to meet safety and QA standards.
- Plan, organize, and direct crew activities to ensure project goals are met.
- Operate heavy equipment and oversee subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, submit construction site photos, and complete required paperwork.
- Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
- Lead and train crew members, providing timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be experienced and licensed by PADEP and NJDEP in UST Installation
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience in installation or construction.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate construction trucks and heavy equipment.
- Physical capability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, squat, shovel, and perform manual labor.
- Familiarity with blueprints, technology like tablets/smartphones, and basic mechanical systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Pay Range: USD $36.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
