We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Clerk to bolster our team, located in Ridgewood, New Jersey. This role centers around maintaining and managing our accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, and efficiency in operations, and providing detailed financial information to the team.

This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process and code invoices to maintain an organized accounts payable system
Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in records
Efficiently run checks to ensure timely and accurate payments
Enter and manage data related to accounts payable in a systematic manner
Utilize software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
Handle invoice processing to ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Address and resolve any inquiries related to accounts payable
Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating as necessary. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
Adept at Data Entry and Invoice Processing tasks
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
Ability to perform Account Reconciliation effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records
